Senior Activity Centres (SACs) provide a support network for the elderly residents and provide a range of services including information and referral services, maintaining a register of the elderly persons, forming mutual help groups and promoting social interactions.
Neighbourhood Links (NLs) will be a focal point for the community activities where residents, particularly the elderly, come together for activities and community services that enhance their social well-being and support network in the neighbourhood. It offers opportunities for volunteer efforts, social interaction, development of a local network of support and promotes feelings of self-worth and community belonging.
